Our goal is to get back to the core belief that music has the power to connect us, by fostering a community where art and the artist come first. We're launching a new monthly residency that champions Nashville's unique, independent music scene, building a space for collaboration, connection, and captivating live music.

Hosted at Barnfire Creative, a recording studio in East Nashville, this residency will be a departure from the typical live show experience. By creating an intimate environment limited to just 60 tickets, we can focus on building a true community. The residency will feature:
Thoughtful Lineups: We'll curate monthly shows that bring together a diverse mix of artists, from newcomers to established performers. This gives emerging artists a chance to share their art with new listeners, and established artists an opportunity to give back to the scene.
A Captivating Listening Experience: This is a show where the audience gets an up-close-and-personal experience with the artists, and the artists get to perform for a truly engaged crowd. It's a space where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
A Unique Setting: The residency will be held in a recording studio, offering a one-of-a-kind listening experience. using vintage gear, we offer the possibility of recording the show live, letting everyone be a part of something beautiful that lasts longer than just an evening.
the river indigo: anchoring the scene
We, The River Indigo, will serve as the host band, playing a set each month. As an indie singer-songwriter duo, we write songs that resonate with the listener's own feelings of grief, pain, and healing. Influenced by artists like flyte, hannah cohen, billie marten, and Nathaniel Rateliff, our music combines honest songwriting with a lively, energetic live show. We are champions of the indie community and are dedicated to creating consistent opportunities for artists who don't fit the typical Nashville music categories.
